First impressions mean everything!
The first time someone visits your site, is the time
that someone decides whether or not you have a chance
of selling to them. You've seen those ads before, you
know, the ones that are dull, and boring, and are no
interest to you, the ones that you close even before
looking at them. You know why they don't work? because
they don't grab your attention. When you start a
|
|
traffic campaign, we are going to be sending thousands
of visitors to your site. Now you can have them all leave and think about the ad
that they just saw. or you can have them think "Wow that looks interesting,
let's see what it's all about"!
Let us
show you some ways to improve
your traffic campaign, and get the attention of the
visitors that we will be sending to your site.
To make your ad more effective
we recommend that you setup
a page specifically for your campaign. Name the
page whatever you want and use the URL for your
traffic campaign. This will also help you keep
better track of the visitors we send to you. Your
ad should have few words, or words that will grab
a visitors attention. You should have some eye
catching graphics, and must want the viewer want
more. It's quite simple actually, just think about
the ads that have caught your attention. Most
likely they have worked on other people. You can
use them as an example and create a similar ad
using the same concept they used to get click-throughs.
You want people to check out your site further,
and you make sales!
Make sure
your site is fast loading.
There is nothing more disturbing to a visitor then
to have to wait for a site to load, they will
leave you high and dry even before they get to see
your site. Another reason for making a specific
page just for your traffic campaign. You want your
site to load as fast as possible so that the
visitor can view it fast before they have a chance
to leave. Make your graphics eye catching, but
keep the file size small.
Another thing you must remember
when running an ad campaign is that to be more
successful, you must have a product or service
that everyone wants. You can't run an ad campaign
trying to sell memberships to a local gym in a
small town in Oklahoma then wonder why you don't
get hundreds of signups. Think about things that
everyone wants, and try to focus your
advertisement in that direction. It doesn't have
to be really be something that everyone wants for
example, a business opportunity to own a dog
grooming service, but if in the ad you focus on
things that everyone does want (like money,
success, more time, etc.), then you will be more
likely to make a sale!
We could go on
and on for hundreds of pages
discussing advertising techniques, but hopefully
we gave you enough information to get you started.
Just use common sense, and think like the person
who will be viewing your ad, and you will be just
fine. |
